Python Eats Springbok Whole! | Deadliest Showdowns | Earth Unplugged
At 6 metres long the African Rock Python lies in wait for its prey at the bottom of a lake. Capable of holding its breath for 15 minutes at a time, it goes unnoticed. With a burst of energy, it launches out of the water, pinning its Springbok prey with ease. Constricting the life out of it, the snake then proceeds to swallow it whole - horns and all. Steve Backshall analyses all the action.
