Oorah Embassy Hachnasas Sefer Torah in Yerushalayim

As we prepare for Shavuos during the Shloshes Yemei Hagbalah, we wanted to share some beautiful moments from a recent Hachanasas Sefer Torah at the Oorah Embassy in Yerushalayim. With the opening of the Embassy, Oorah established a true home for its kiruv work in Eretz Yisroel. This new center will serve as a place of connection, guidance, and support for Oorah’s yeshiva and seminary students from across the United States as they continue to grow in Torah and Yiddishkeit. Oorah’s kiruv students, Shteigers from yeshivos across Eretz Yisroel, were given the special opportunity to write a letter in the Sefer Torah before the procession began. Music, dancing, and singing filled the streets of Yerushalayim as the celebration spread throughout the neighborhood, drawing in children, families, and passersby to join in the simcha. This tremendous simcha marked not only the dedication of a new Sefer Torah and a new building, but a renewed commitment to Oorah’s mission, now with a permanent home in Yerushalayim.
