I. Purpose of Creation & the Nature of Truth. God created the world to bestow goodness and eternal closeness. This life is for Tikkun—correcting ourselves and the world. Truth is not static—it unfolds across time and deeper Torah understanding. II. The Three Main Soul Types: Bnei Noach (Humanity): All non-Jews today are considered Bnei Noach—descendants of Noah. They are called to live moral lives and follow the 7 Noahide Laws. Bnei Yisrael (Jewish Souls): The 600,000 root souls of Israel, spiritually descended from Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov. These souls received the Torah and are tasked with uplifting the world. Erev Rav (Mixed Multitude): Non-Jewish souls who joined the Jews at the Exodus but are not part of the 600,000. While Jewish by halachic status, spiritually they may still carry distortion and confusion, unless they refine themselves. III. Converts (Geirim) Converts are born as Bnei Noach but fully join Am Yisrael through halachic conversion. Their souls may stem from lofty sources and are fully integrated once they convert. IV. Justice, Reward, and Suffering Why do righteous people suffer? To cleanse minor sins, earn greater reward in Olam Haba, or serve as atonement for the generation. Why do wicked people prosper? Because even the wicked do some good—God pays them in this world for those good deeds, so they have no share in the next. God's system is exact: Every good deed is rewarded. But the eternal world is for those who align with their divine purpose. V. Who Are We Really Talking About? This system depends on the type of soul: 1. Humanity (Bnei Noach): If they live moral lives and reject idolatry, they can earn a place in the World to Come. God judges them fairly based on their effort and sincerity. However, those who are truly wicked—oppressors, murderers, abusers—receive their good in this world, and their souls are ultimately lost. 2. Erev Rav (Mixed Multitude): Though halachically Jewish, their spiritual root is distinct. If they follow God and do teshuvah, they are rewarded. But if they turn against God and His people, they may be cut off and not merit Olam Haba. 3. Jewish Souls (600,000 Root Neshamot): These souls are called banim laShem—children of God. They are a piece of the Divine. Even if they sin greatly or become wicked, they can never be eternally lost. They must go through intense suffering or reincarnations (gilgulim) to fix what was damaged, but their souls will eventually reach Olam Haba. VI. Beyond Reward & Punishment: God’s Unconditional Love The Jewish soul is not just judged by merit, but by identity. While others enter Olam Haba by deserving it, these Jewish souls are destined for it. But their path may include unimaginable suffering if they deviate from God’s will. VII. Final Hope and Redemption All Jewish souls, even the most broken, will ultimately be restored. Even those excluded from resurrection at first will rise at the end. The world will reach a perfected state with all souls unified in love, truth, and peace. May we reach that day soon—with compassion, teshuvah, and unity—so that suffering is no longer needed, and the world can be filled with light. Amen. For more inspiring content: @Hidabrootcom
