Blowing Shofar at Christie 2016 Campaign event

At a campaign event Tuesday morning at Rutgers University’s Chabad House in New Brunswick, Governor Chrsitie was introduced with the blowing of a shofar, as accustomed to do so by religious Jews in the month of Elul. Rabbi Mendy Carlebach, director of new Brunswick Chabad house, who introduced the governor to address the Iran nuclear deal, took out a Shofar and blew a condensed version of the full sequence blown on Rosh Hashanah for some 30 seconds.
